The first step to working with our office is a free initial phone consultation with attorney Karen Ware.
During the free initial consultation, we will ask you for some general information.
At the end of the free consultation, we will be able to tell you if we can help with your situation.
You don’t need an appointment for the initial consultation- just give us a call.
During the initial consultation, we will ask you the following questions:
What problem are you trying to solve by filing bankruptcy?
How much debt do you have and what kind of debt is it?
What kind of assets do you have?
What is your total household monthly income?
What are your total monthly household expenses?
Give us a call at (805) 284-0760 for a free Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy consultation.
Once we understand the basics of your situation, we will give you a list of documents to bring to the first meeting at our office.
This is your intake meeting.
The intake meeting can be done in person or on ZOOM.
Most of our clients have very busy schedules, and we want to help in any way possible.
You can also complete your bankruptcy hearing over the phone or on ZOOM for the time being. (It is possible the bankruptcy court will switch back to in-person hearings in the future.)
Of course we enjoy meeting our clients in person, and would prefer to meet with everyone in person. But our Clients’ health and convenience are our top priorities.
We will also give you some online questionnaires to complete before the intake meeting. The questionnaires will be specific to your situation.
You have the option of uploading supporting documents to our secure client portal, or bringing hard copies to the office if your appointment is in person.
